Carol & Dale: I was so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. I remember him from Basketball, of course. Although he was not that tall, he did a good job of playing against much taller people and holding his own. He was an inspiration to the rest of us. I am sure he will be missed. Hoping all family members know how much Uncle Dean and his family members truely meant to me! In the early 70's, my dad, Jim Rowe, married Carolee Davis. As a young tweenager, along with my two other siblings, we were welcomed as family (not step family) with arms wide open!! This was the Davis way! Sure will miss his joking around!! Love to you all! I have fond memories of playing pick-up basketball at the old converted church in Bethel. Dean and the other veterans made sure to bring out the best in his young competitve lads.

Also remember Coach Zabonick raving about Dean's rebounding exploits, being unmatched by anyone in the county.

Dean's friendly wave every time we passed him on the road, and I mean every time, will be truly missed! Jess called him the icon of our neighborhood, and he was respected for his hardwork and integrity. WE are saddened to hear of Dean's passing. He truly was a great man and we enjoyed knowing him and Nora and most of the children. He will be really missed by many. May God rest his soul and rest assured he will be farming in heaven.
