Scott, you and I spent hours and hours in high school - talking on the phone, roller skating, skipping school, and driving around in that tiny little car of yours. You taught me not to be so scared of life; I taught you that someone could like you for the good and the bad and everything in between. No one really understood that we could just be friends! I'm glad you finally found some joy in your life. I'm sorry that you are gone so soon! We'll have hours and hours again one of these days.... How can I choose just one story from the volumes that there have been. The miles that we've logged together would take us around the world and back. I think it would be more appropriate to list some of the highlights of our friendship and let everyone else recall their own stories. Let's flash back to our school days at CHS 1972-74, Open Study Hall/Release, Co-Ed Gym, Graduation or being the first ones to attend BACC and in your case one of the first to be caught skipping. How about the Chevy II or Dodge Dart. Don't forget 70 Balfour, 226 and 113 Division even the Farm. Parkhurst, Waterworks & Riverbend Parks. Braucher Road, Tripp Road, River Road and all the rest. Mono, Jackie and Della. How about Tasty Freeze, McDonald's, Lamplighter, Omar's and Bill's. The Parties, Concerts and Brushes with the Law. Playing Spoons, Scam and other games. Watching Kung Fu, M*A*S*H & WKRP. The People (Way Too Many to list, but they know who they are) The Jocks, Freaks & Straights. Pep Rally's, Football Games & Bomb Scares. Drivers Training, Fake ID's and Thunderstorms. Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll. Of course there was the Coast Guard, Kansas & Florida. ScottsDale, Blindman's Bluff, Red Dog and all the other local bands. Linda, Pat and our families then saying our final farwell knowing that we'd never see each other again on this planet. I could go on forever, but you my friend will not. Your contribution here to ALL of these things in my life and the hundreds of others you've touched are so special and memorable it is regretable that it had to end so early I envisioned us getting old together and recalling the many Great Times We've Had. Travel Safe on your New Journey and i'll see you on the other side so we can pick up where we left off.
