I have nothing but great memories that I have the privlege to share with Grandpa, I feel honored knowing that grandpa is a Marine and I could somewhat follow his footsteps in sharing that brotherhood.

I remember sitting at the table at your home with my Mom and Dad and listening to the stories you all would tell. I remember Forrest's laugh and smile most of all. I never wanted to leave and go play because I didn't want to miss any of the laughter and silliness you all shared. I remember hearing those same laughs while you all played cards. Sympathies extended across the miles at the passing of a husband, father, brother, friend, and my brother-in-law. I have many, many fond memories of my times with Forrest that I cherish. Forrest was a big brother, son, father and loving husband. He was truly a very good man and I respected and loved him with all my heart. All through my life, he has been there for me with love, advice and support. No words can express how much he will be missed. His suffering has ended and I know he is at peace with no further pain.
