Grandma I have missed my days with you...my memories with you are some of my very favorite memories in life....Some of my favorite memories with you are of me basically just following you around... I remember feeding the birds and you telling me all about each of them...telling me how mean blue jays are and how special hummingbirds are... You always seemed to have a story to tell and I always loved to listen to them...stories of you as a kid and you sharing stories about granny and the old farm house....stories about my dad and playing with a stick and a hoop...I remember all the crafts we made...the rope angels, the clothes pin reindeer, cross stitching and much more.... I get my creativity from you for sure....you taught me so much...because of you I decorate just about every birthday/anything card that I have ever given....I can remember helping you make homemade noodles for the best homemade chicken noodle soup in the world (just watch out for the peppercorns lol)...I remember helping you get towels off the line and the time we seen a snake in the outhouse lol and I can remember helping pick vegetables from the garden..I remember finding four leaf clovers and running to show you because if we found one you would give us candy :) .speaking of candy I remember how you always had werthers originals and those strawberry candies in your purse and how I would always ask for one....I can remember several times where you had told me to come see you in the office and you had bought me a candy bar or a pop and there was always a sticky note attached to it with a little message written on it followed with a smiley face :) I remember how you helped me with reading by having me read Dr. Suess....I remember when I used to come over and you would ask me every couple minutes if I was hungry and I finally would say yes when you mentioned cookies or pizza :) ...I remember how you liked your grilled cheese with mayonnaise... if I remember correctly it was miracle whip....which I always thought was a little weird lol  I know I hadnt seen you in a long time but I have thought about you every day...something always seems to remind me of you....every time I turn on the radio on a sunday morning....every time I hear the song Roses for Momma or Daddy's Hands I am instantly brought back to those sunday mornings waking up to you singing along to gospel music on the radio in the kitcen...everytime I see a hummingbird I remember the times starring out your living room window in hopes of seeing one...I consider myself lucky to have had so many happy memories with you and I will forever hold them close....RIP Grandma...
