I am so saddened to hear of the loss of such a special person and childhood friend. I was fortunate to grow up across the street from 'The Johnsons' and hold closely so many wonderful memories of Mikey and the entire Johnson family. My heart goes out to his entire family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

To the friends and family of Michael, Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Words cannot begin to express the sadness you are feeling. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love. And when it happens, the thought of never again being able to talk to, laugh with, or hold your loved one can be most difficult to bear. But please know that your Heavenly Father understands your pain. He, too, felt pain when his only begotten son died. And just like he raised his son, Jesus Christ, to life, he promised to do the same for our dead loved ones. Hosea 13:14 says, "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them;From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Grave? Compassion will be concealed from my eyes." I hope that you find measure of comfort in God's promise to end all suffering and death soon and forever. Revelation 21:4.
